I understand the anger of your protests, There are millions in the USA like myself who want this war stope and Bush and Channey and Rumsfeld put on Trail for their criminal acts of aggression against the world. Please understand however that as the USA protests are happening we are being made to seem unpatriotic and this underminds our efforts to stop this war. We US citizens can do this, it is our right. However the media in America takes our protests and your protests where you burn US flags and ephagy burnings of our president, then they put our protests which are trying to stop the war , and edit in footage of the flag burning in your country and other countries and suddenly We the american protesters are made to seem like we hate our country and there fore we should be ignored if we are going to make changes and hopfully stop the war then we need for people to listen and support us and being lumped in with people around the world burnign flags is not a help ... please pass this on to others and try to get the flag burning stopped but keep on letting your goverment know this is a bad war fight the war mechine and keep on fighting but don't discredit the americans doing the same we need for people to hear but when they see protestors any protestor burning the flag of their country they stop listing, we need to be united in peace. let others know.

I think that the US government will try to find any possible way to discredit the Peace Movement, as it has always done, and I doubt that flag or effigy burning or not burning will make much difference. I would, however, encourage strategies of protest that garner unity with Peace and progressive forces in the United States, and over the world, rather than treating the United States of North America as a monolithic structure. Strategies that serve to split the US working class from the financial and corporate ruling class rather than driving them together. Afterall, the governments and corporations all over the world are all hand-in-hand, and the peoples of different countries are potential allies. Part of their propaganda is to make the population think that the ruling interests are their own interests; we should try to always give the opposite view. One must not let anger undermine strategy.
