This recently introduced service is first of its kind in the World and is a web-based legal service that is providing free legal "interpretation of Indian laws" in an updating and purposive manner. It is a joint collaboration of two law firms Perry4law and Legal Solutions India. Its benefits can be availed of by Legal Fraternity, Indian Judicial System, International Organisations, NGOs, etc. The proposed project will be catering the needs of "many issues and fields” at one place.
The objectives of the proposed "project research" are totally different from the objectives of other discussion groups and blogs. Firstly, the proposed project(s) will be catering the needs of "many issues and fields", including RTI, at one place. Secondly, though there is, for instance, lot of information available regarding RTI Act, 2005 but no group or blog provides the "legal interpretation" of its provisions. To say that "information" is defined in this section is totally different from describing what are the Constitutional and statutory parameters of information, how it was interpreted by the courts, what are the legal rights associated with it, etc.
What PROJECT RESEARCH aims is not mere description of the relevant provisions but their Constitutional and statutory interpretation that can readily be used when need arises. So I will proceed section by section with a judicial interpretation attached to it, wherever there is one.
The same procedure will be followed regarding other fields and topics as well.
