yes i have wondered this as well yes, I have been wondering this as well, I have noticed several IMC's are not on the main page. I think Barcelona is another one.

Indian activists + e-gurus not yet together?  http://lbbs.org/southasia/southasia1.htm My guess as to why India-IMC is not listed on the main site is because the IMC group is not yet convinced that the e-guru(s) who set up the India site are working closely with activists struggling for genuine free media and against centralised, authoritarian global capitalism... You don't actually see a huge number of useful postings dealing with India (or the rest of South Asia) here - there's more international stuff probably better restricted to the main site (or country sites). Which suggests that someone down-loaded the software and hoped that the content would automatically follow (cargo cult logic). If *you* know "progressive" Indian activists who are also e-wise or if you can get Indian activists and internet users to work together, then go for it! But tell them it requires work... The other sites generally get going with a bang when they support a major anti-global-capitalism event. Maybe the 2001 meeting of the international war-resisters in India could be supported by India-IMC? You really want to be an e-activist? Look up the South Asia meta-site http://lbbs.org/southasia/southasia1.htm and try persuading web-managers from sites that convince you that they should post to India-IMC - and tell them a bit about it... My tuppence worth.
