Promulgation condemned

Our Madurai Special Correspondent reports:

The All-India Lawyers Union has urged the Centre to give up its decision to get parliamentary approval for the POTO.

The AILU, in a statement, condemned the promulgation of the ordinance hardly four weeks before the commencement of the winter session of Parliament in violation of the assurance given by the Prime Minister that the TADA would not be replaced with any other legislation.
