GLOBAL WOMEN’S STRIKE
Friday 8 March
International Women's Day
On International Women's Day, women globally will go on Strike for a world which values all women’s work & every life – Invest in caring not killing!
We will strike to end “America’s new war” and all wars, and globalisation – end no pay, low pay and too much work worldwide.
So far, women are making Strike plans in Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Britain, Belarus, Canada, Colombia, Congo, Ireland, Italy, France, Ghana, Guyana, Mexico, New Zeeland, Nigeria, Peru, Polan, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda and the United States. Visit our website and go to News from around the World, for more details.
Women (and men who support us) are invited to join actions wherever you are. See our website for what you can do and to read more about the Strike and our demands, and to read Striking statements from women of different sectors. You can also read statements from men who support the Strike and download leaflets.
