Faizabad, 26 February. RUMOURS AND APPRENHENSION PREVAIL BECAUSE OF ROWDY BEHAVIOUR OF KAR SEWAKS
ON THEIR WAY TO AYODHYA People are apprehensive of untoward incidents and
possibility of curfew in the areas dominated by certain community because
of the rumours floating around resulting from rowdy behaviour of Kar Sewaks
on train.

Some 2500 Kar Sewaks arrived from Gujarat to Ayodhya today
by Sabarmati Express. These Kar Sewaks pulled out a bearded passenger bound
for Muzzafarpur from the train at Faizabad and shouted anti-Pakistan
slogans and raised Jai Sri Ram cries.

When the abovementioned passenger complained to the GRP
Police Incharge Sanjeev Srivastava then he made arrangements for the said
passenger to travel with the Guard in his compartment.

The atmosphere in Faizabad has become tense because of the
rowdy behaviour of the Kar Sewaks coming into Ayodhya and going back and
because of their provocative slogan shouting on the platforms. Some rumours
were also afloat today which could not be confirmed. People of certain
community were planning their strategy in Badagaon Bazar of Raunahi Police
Station area.

It has been reported that two youth belonging to minority
ommunity were thrown out of the train between Badagaon and Rudauli railway
stations. They have suffered minor injuries.

National President of Yuva Lok Dal Munna Singh after
returning from Badagaon has requested the Commissioner and DIG of Faizabad
district to ensure security of passengers in all trains entering Faizabad
district so that things don't escalate due to rowdy behaviour of Kar
Sewaks.

According to information received Tauheed, a 20 year
student of Al-Jametul Islamia, Rudauli was thrown out of Sabarmati Express
by Kar Sewaks at Gauria Mau station because of which he suffered an eye
injury. Information about the other person is not known.
