I dont know what to say, but something must be said.
Thousands are dead, over 100,000 people are stranded in ill-equipped relief camps, which too have been ordered to close by May 31st by our greatest defender of justice, the Supreme Court.
We have our Prime Minister saying things like it is "unfortunate" and telling the International Community to turn the other way because it is only a "minor disturbance."
Hindu mobs are moving around with voter LISTS and carefully targetting muslims. People are being burnt alive. Women are being raped. One woman was raped, then had her stomach cut open and her unborn child thrown onto the side of the road.
We have our honourable Defence Minister trying to condone rape. We have our honourable Home Minister trying to blame the whole affair on "militant Islam", we have our Prime Minister condemning organizations for speaking out against the violence.
Can we call this what it is yet?
State-supported ethnic cleansing and genocide.
And if we try to ignore it, or just wish it away, its only going to get worse. There is open talk on the streets of "finishing Muslims once and for all" - I feel helpless, totally and utterly helpless - I feel ashamed.
I urge the international community (people, not Governments) to take notice and see this for what it is, no matter what my Government might try to tell you.
I urge the Indian community to take notice - our country is on the verge of something horrible - I dont know what to do, but do get in touch with me, maybe we can think of something ...
