I am writing to inform you of a long history of efforts to block my musical career and take my ideas. It has now gone beyond the pale. Some time ago, while I was living in England, I was sent out to tune the ex-Beatle GEORGE HARRISON's piano several times. After five years in England I eventually went back to where I'd originally come from. There I made my own adaptation of the Beatles' "Hey Jude". I took the original song and re-worked it into a latin "Bachata", mixed with flamenco. I made a demonstration cassette of it and sent it to George Harrison. It came back to me stamped with a rude "by bike" in the place of the usual "Air mail" on the envelope. I phoned him to ask for an explanation but was told by his secretary that he did not want to come to the phone. Mr. Raul Cairo of the Dutch "Music and Media" magazine can testify to the quality of my arrangement of "Hey Jude", as he wrote an article about it in the same magazine. I tried sending demonstration cassettes of my version of "Hey Jude" to three record companies in Spain, and, some months later, a group called "Los Roling" came out with a flamenco rendition of Beatles music. Significantly, it was at the same time that Raul Cairo was writing up my "Hey Jude" in "Music and Media". After a Finnish promotional firm requested 28 CDs of the song for broadcasting on their radio chain throughout Europe the song began to get airplay. I was told by the firm that they were getting phone-in requests for the song at the stations and that it was being given a nice reception by radio listeners. Some ten days later the song disappeared off the air as though an invisible hand had stopped it. The Finnish promotional firm did not care to provide any explanation when I phoned up about it. Time went by and I made a "salsa" version of the Beatles' song "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". This time I sent demonstration cassettes to record companies outside Europe, including in New York. Some months later, a well-known latin entertainer got a salsa band together with performers from "Fania All Stars" among others, and released an L.P. of salsa-style Beatles music in New York. Time went by again, and it occurred to me that perhaps I could help get the Beatles back together again as a Beatles' music specialist myself and a professional musician in my own right. I faxed a proposal to that effect to George Harrison, one which he never answered. I did fax him several times again afterwards trying to set out my ideas about the Beatles revival venture, only to discover at one point that he had had his fax number changed. The international operator told me she couldn't give me the new number, as it was unlisted. About six months after the fax incident the first "Beatles Anthology" CD came out, after many, many years without a Beatles release. My idea. He took it and went ahead without me. Now I am back in England. I came back with 14 songs that I'd put together under the title "Shangri-La", hoping to get a record deal for it. Both "Hey Jude" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" were included in my production. There were also two other well-known songs in my own adapted version. The rest, the other ten songs, were all my own original compositions. Even though I am a Rock musician,"Shangri-La" is a multi-styled production. I took demonstration cassettes of "Shangri-La" to the ten major record companies in London. All ten were somehow mysteriously "mislaid". Representatives of the A&R departments concerned refused even to come to the phone to give me an explanation, delegating other people to take the call instead and tell me that they were still having trouble locating the cassette. All ten cassettes??...Isn't that a bit much to be a coincidence??... One of the other two items I'd re-worked for "Shangri-La" was "If I Had A Hammer". The rhythm and arrangements were all distinctly different in my version from the original song. One day, after having delivered my cassettes to the main record companies, I switched on the television, only to see the launch of a new programme featuring Trini Lopez's original "If I Had A Hammer" as the theme song...That was after my version of the long-forgotten song had been heard by the record companies. Again, after my cassettes had gone out to the record companies, a big night club that was owned by people who had links with the record industry started running a show they called "Shangri-La". They stole the name from my production. I ended up having to hire solicitors to get them to stop using the name, as I had already had it registered for musical purposes. During that same period I received dozens of nuisance calls on my mobile phone from people mocking me with taunts like: "Don't you have a record deal ?", or "Go find another country", or "I'm not hearing your songs on the radio"... Realizing that there must be a conspiracy against me I had promotional CDs pressed of "Hey Jude" and distributed them to 84 radio stations around England. After a couple weeks I had letters back from radio stations saying they couldn't play "Hey Jude" on their programmes, although some of the selfsame directors went on to praise my arrangement of the song. Capital Radio described it as "a very interesting arrangement". The BBC World Service went on to call it "a very original and quite virtuoso arrangement". From Sony Music I read: "..I was really impressed with the quality of the performance and your new arrangement". If the song was good enough to generate such comments, why wouldn't they play it ? ? ? After the radio set-back I sent a CD of my adapted version of "Hey Jude" to Paul McCartney at his office, asking if he could give me a hand by contacting some of the radio station directors. A week later I followed up by phoning his office, only to be met with one of the secretaries, who in a rude and aggressive manner dismissed me with,: "We've put your CD of "Hey Jude" in a cold cellar...". Why such a violent reaction ? ?... So I wrote to Paul McCartney. I even made 16 copies of my letters and mailed them separately to be sure that one of them at least got through to him at his home. Yet I never had a reply. Interestingly enough, just at that time I started to hear massive outpourings of the Beatles' "Hey Jude" on the radio,and Paul McCartney himself suddenly began performing live again at the "Cavern" in Liverpool after years of inactivity. It was during those same months that I was getting threatening, anonymous phone calls on my mobile, warning me against giving live performances or playing anywhere. The calls were always made from public telephones. One music agent whom I'd contacted in an effort to find myself a manager, apologized, saying: "I'm sorry, but I cannot use you...". He refused to say why and hung up on me. That was when I realized what a huge operation I was up against. So huge, in fact, that in the three and a half years I have been in England this second stay I have as yet to give my first live concert or perform anywhere, despite having contacted more than 20 music agents. Five months after my "Hey Jude" was blocked on British radio stations the latest Beatles' CD came out. This was the second time that my adaptation of "Hey Jude" had caused a Beatles' Anthology to appear..It seems some people regard my "Hey Jude" as a threat... And as another "coincidence", the e-mail address that Paul McCartney offered for fans to write to him is called heyjude18@hotmail.com...as I said before, after my Hey Jude got blocked on british radio, Paul McCartney rushed in with concerts at the "Cavern" in Liverpool and launched this second Beatles Anthology CD. Nevertheless, when he saw that the concerts only gathered a very small audience and that the CD did not sell as expected, now he pushed for a CD to come out of his work with his group "Wings"...all this with no let-up, one thing after another, like he was trying to gain time for something, wanting to be constantly present in people's minds for some reason....It is with sadness that I realize that possibly some people could be very afraid of my Hey Jude.... Most recently, one of my piano tuning customers, who is involved with the British music industry, said an aggressive letter had been forged in my name and sent out to different branches of the above mentioned music industry and to other parts of the music world. This was further confirmed by a DJ friend of mine in British radio...What vile extremes will some people not resort to in their attempt to alienate others from me???... Also, as another "coincidence", one of the ten major record companies in London that stole my "Shangri-la" cassettes, has just launched a CD of one of their bands, being the band's CD title exactly the same as my own, with the addition of a couple of words to make the title a comical phrase !!! ..... They've launched it through one of their branches in another part of the world.....I suspect this is a subtle trap by this record firm expecting me to react to their action to implicate me with that part of the world.....I will not fall into that trap.....Now they are trying to block me in other parts of the world as well.....it looks like some people consider my work something very dangerous, judging by the amount of conspiracy they are generating......once again, it is amazing to see the vile manoeuvres of some people...... I tried sending demonstration cassettes of my version of "Hey Jude" to three record companies in Spain, and, some months later, a group called "Los Roling" came out with a flamenco rendition of Beatles music. Significantly, it was at the same time that Raul Cairo was writing up my "Hey Jude" in "Music and Media". After a Finnish promotional firm requested 28 CDs of the song for broadcasting on their radio chain throughout Europe the song began to get airplay. I was told by the firm that they were getting phone-in requests for the song at the stations and that it was being given a nice reception by radio listeners. Some ten days later the song disappeared off the air as though an invisible hand had stopped it. The Finnish promotional firm did not care to provide any explanation when I phoned up about it. Time went by and I made a "salsa" version of the Beatles' song "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". This time I sent demonstration cassettes to record companies outside Europe, including in New York. Some months later, a well-known latin entertainer got a salsa band together with performers from "Fania All Stars" among others, and released an L.P. of salsa-style Beatles music in New York. Time went by again, and it occurred to me that perhaps I could help get the Beatles back together again as a Beatles' music specialist myself and a professional musician in my own right. I faxed a proposal to that effect to George Harrison, one which he never answered. I did fax him several times again afterwards trying to set out my ideas about the Beatles revival venture, only to discover at one point that he had had his fax number changed. The international operator told me she couldn't give me the new number, as it was unlisted. About six months after the fax incident the first "Beatles Anthology" CD came out, after many, many years without a Beatles release. My idea. He took it and went ahead without me. Now I am back in England. I came back with 14 songs that I'd put together under the title "Shangri-La", hoping to get a record deal for it. Both "Hey Jude" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" were included in my production. There were also two other well-known songs in my own adapted version. The rest, the other ten songs, were all my own original compositions. Even though I am a Rock musician, "Shangri-La" is a multi-styled production. I took demonstration cassettes of "Shangri-La" to the ten major record companies in London. All ten were somehow mysteriously "mislaid". Representatives of the A&R departments concerned refused even to come to the phone to give me an explanation, delegating other people to take the call instead and tell me that they were still having trouble locating the cassette. All ten cassettes??...Isn't that a bit much to be a coincidence??... One of the other two items I'd re-worked for "Shangri-La" was "If I Had A Hammer". The rhythm and arrangements were all distinctly different in my version from the original song. One day, after having delivered my cassettes to the main record companies, I switched on the television, only to see the launch of a new programme featuring Trini Lopez's original "If I Had A Hammer" as the theme song...That was after my version of the long-forgotten song had been heard by the record companies. Again, after my cassettes had gone out to the record companies, a big night club that was owned by people who had links with the record industry started running a show they called "Shangri-La". They stole the name from my production. I ended up having to hire solicitors to get them to stop using the name, as I had already had it registered for musical purposes. During that same period I received dozens of nuisance calls on my mobile phone from people mocking me with taunts like: "Don't you have a record deal ?", or "Go find another country", or "I'm not hearing your songs on the radio"... Realizing that there must be a conspiracy against me I had promotional CDs pressed of "Hey Jude" and distributed them to 84 radio stations around England. After a couple weeks I had letters back from radio stations saying they couldn't play "Hey Jude" on their programmes, although some of the selfsame directors went on to praise my arrangement of the song. Capital Radio described it as "a very interesting arrangement". The BBC World Service went on to call it "a very original and quite virtuoso arrangement". A week later I followed up by phoning his office, only to be met with one of the secretaries, who in a rude and aggressive manner dismissed me with,: "We've put your CD of "Hey Jude" in a cold cellar...". Why such a violent reaction ? ?... So I wrote to Paul McCartney. I even made 16 copies of my letters and mailed them separately to be sure that one of them at least got through to him at his home. Yet I never had a reply. Interestingly enough, just at that time I started to hear massive outpourings of the Beatles' "Hey Jude" on the radio,and Paul McCartney himself suddenly began performing live again at the "Cavern" in Liverpool after years of inactivity. It was during those same months that I was getting threatening, anonymous phone calls on my mobile, warning me against giving live performances or playing anywhere. The calls were always made from public telephones. One music agent whom I'd contacted in an effort to find myself a manager, apologized, saying: "I'm sorry, but I cannot use you...". He refused to say why and hung up on me. That was when I realized what a huge operation I was up against. So huge, in fact, that in the three and a half years I have been in England this second stay I have as yet to give my first live concert or perform anywhere, despite having contacted more than 20 music agents. J'ai repris l'air original pour en faire une sorte de "bachata" latine, dosée d'un peu de flamenco. J'ai tout enregistré, puis j'en ai tire une copie sur cassette que j'ai envoyé à George Harrison. Il me l'a renvoyée avec l'inscription "à vélo" à la place de l'indication habituelle "par avion". Lorsque j'ai téléphoné pour en savoir plus, la secrétaire m'a dit que M. Harrison n'était pas disponsible. M. Raul Cairo, journaliste auprès de la revue hollandaise "Music & Media", peut témoigner du mérite de mon adaptation de "Hey Jude", puisque c'est lui-même qui a choisi d'écrire un article là-dessus dans la même revue. Ensuite j'ai encore envoyé des cassettes "promo" de la même adaptation à trois maisons de disque espagnoles. Quelques mois plus tard un groupe qui jouait sous le nom de "Los Roling" a publié leur version de la musique des Beatles style flamenco. Il est significatif que cela s'est produit à l'époque oú M. Cairo faisait sortir son article dans "Music & Media". A un moment donné une maison finlandaise a passé une commande de 28 CDs, et mon arrangement de "Hey Jude" commençait à se faire diffuser par leur réseau radiophonique en Europe. On m'a même fait comprendre que ma version de la chanson plaisait au grand public et que l'on recevait des appels pour qu'on la joue plus souvent. Dix jours plus tard c'était le silence absolu, on n'entendait plus ma chanson, comme si elle s'était faite retirer par une main invisible. Pas un mot d'explication non plus; on restait sourd à mes appels. Le temp passait, et j'ai encore créé un arrangement style "salsa" de la chanson "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" des Beatles. Cette fois j'ai envoyé des cassettes ailleurs qu'en Europe, voire jusqu'à New York. Il n'a fallu que quelques mois pour qu'un artiste "latino" assez bien connu là-bas ait rassemblé des musicians autour de lui - (y compris des membres du groupe "Fania All Stars") - pour faire sortir un album style "salsa" des "hits" des Beatles. Ensuite j'ai eu l'idée de faire quelque chose, participer moi-même à un relancement des Beatles. Après tout, je m'y étais specialize depuis fort longtemps en tant que musicien professionel. J'ai rédigé une lettre á cet effet que j'ai faxée à George Harrison, mais il ne m'a pas répondu. A plusieurs reprises je lui ai envoyé des fax pour partager mes idées avec lui sur un eventuel come-back, jusqu'à ce qu'on m'apprend qu'il avait changé de numéro. Aux renseignements on m'a dit qu'il était dorénavant sur la liste rouge. Six mois plus tard on a vu sortir "L'Anthologie des Beatles" sur CD. Voilà ce qu'elle est devenue, mon idée á moi!.. Maintenant je me trouve de nouveau en Grande Bretagne. J'ai amené avec moi depuis mon pays natal une série de 14 chansons que j'ai regroupée sous le titre "Shangri-La" dans l'espoir de faire graver un disque. Dans la série j'ai incorporé les deux adaptations des chansons des Beatles intitulées "Hey Jude" et "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" ainsi que deux autres adaptations des chansons populaires. Quant au reste, il s'agit de mes propres compositions. J'ai distribué aux dix maisons de disques principales á Londres des cassettes "promo" de "Shangri-La", mais, curieusement, chacune de ces dix cassettes a disparu. Sans exception!! A mes demandes d'éclaircissements ont répondu seulement les subalternes des chefs des departments "A&R" pour me dire qu'on "s'en occupait..". Peut-etre bien, mais encore le m?me scenario reproduit dans une dizaine de cas pareils? N'est-ce pas un peu exageré? Une autre mélodie reprise par moi dans la collection "Shangri-La" était celle connue en anglais sous le titre "If I Had A Hammer" ("Si j'avais un marteau"). J'avais remanié tout l'arrangement, le rhythme, etc. Un jour, bien après avoir remis mon enregistrement aux maisons de disques principales, je suis rentré chez moi, et en allumant mon poste de télévision j'entends la m?me chanson dans sa version originale de Trini Lopez servant d'indicatif d'un nouveau programme. J'insiste, cela s'est passé bien après l'audition dans les maisons de disque de mon adaptation de cette chanson qui, il faut le dire, était bien tombée dans les oubliettes jusque là. Et encore, toujours à la m?me époque, comme par hazard on assistait à l'inauguration d'un nouveau "show" appelé "Shangri-La" dans une boîte de nuit très connue, don't les propriétaires gardaient des liens assez proches avec les maisons de disque. C'est le titre de ma proper production qu'ils avaient piqué tout simplement!!. Pour finir, j'ai dû engager des poursuites contre eux pour qu'ils arrêtent de s'en servir, puisqu'il s'agissait d'un nom déposé. Pendant ce même temps je recevais des appels anonyms sur mon portable. Sur un ton railleur on me répétait, "Toujours rien de signé?", ou encore, "Allez, va te chercher un autre pays!", et "Tes chansons ne passeront jamais à la radio!"... J'ai compris qu'il devait y avoir un complot contre moi. J'ai été exprès pour faire graver des CD de ma version de "Hey Jude" et les faire distribuer à 84 stations de radio en Grande Bretagne. Quelques semaines ont suffi pour que je reçoive des lettres de la part des directeurs des stations m'informant qu'ils étaient dans l'impossibilité de jouer mon adaptation de la chanson, bien qu'ils en aient apprécié la qualité. Selon Capital Radio, par example, on a trouvé "l'arrangement fort intéressant". Chez le World Service de la BBC on considérait que c'était "un arrangement très original et plein de virtuosité", tandis qu'à Sony Music on notait "la qualité fort impressionante de l'interprétation et de votre arrangement". Et bien, tellement ça impressionne les gens qu'ils n'acceptent pas de le jouer!!... Après ce refus à la radio j'ai expedié une copie de la même version de "Hey Jude" sur CD à Paul McCartney à son bureau, en le priant de bien vouloir intercéder auprès des directeurs. N'ayant toujours pas eu de réponse après une semaine, j'ai appelé son bureau et je suis tombé sur une des secretaries qui, sur un ton assez grossier et aggressif m'a dit, "On l'a mis de côté, ton CD!!". D'accord, mais pourquoi ce ton-là??... C'est alors que j'ai écrit à Paul McCartney à son domicile. J'ai même envoyé des copies de la lettre - 16 en tout - pour être sûr qu'au moins une d'entre elles arrive à destination. Néanmoins, je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. Chose bizarre, mais à peu près à la même époque on commençais à se faire inonder de rediffusions à la radio de "Hey Jude" dans sa version originale des Beatles. Et Paul McCartney lui-même, après des années à la retraite, tout d'un coup s'est mis à jouer en public à la Caverne de Liverpool. En même temps les appels anonymes ont repris chez moi. On me déconseillait de donner des concerts ou de jouer en public tout court. Les appels venaient toujours des cabines téléphoniques. En outré, pendant que je cherchais à me procurer un agent, j'ai pris contact avec quelqu'un du métier qui, tout en s'excusant, m'a expliqué "Je regrette, je ne peux pas vous employer". Et aussitôt il a raccroché, sans vouloir me fournir plus d'explications. C'est à ce moment précis que j'ai compris toute l'envergure de la campagne contre moi. C'est maintant que j'apprécie pourquoi ça fait deux ans et demie que je chôme en Angleterre, sans le droit de jouer nulle part et pourquoi ça fait toute une vingtaine d'agents que j'ai contacté toujours sans issue... Après cinq mois pendant lesquels on a empeché ma version de "Hey Jude" de passer à la radio britannique la dernier CD des Beatles a paru sur le marché. Voilà donc deux fois que mon adaptation de leur chanson les incite à faire sortir une anthologie. Il semblerait que certains considèrent mon enregistrement comme une menace. Tomé la canción original y la transformé en una "bachata" latina, mezclada con flamenco. Grabé un cassette de la versión y se lo mandé a George Harrison. El cassette me fue devuelto con un grosero "Por bicicleta", en vez del acostumbrado "Por Avión", escrito en el sobre. El LP fue lanzado en Nueva York, uno de los lugares adonde fue a parar uno de los demo cassettes de mi versión en "salsa" de "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"... El tiempo pasó otra vez y se me ocurrió que quizás yo hubiese podido reunir a los Beatles conmigo, siendo yo un especialista en la música de ellos, y un músico profesional de experiencia. Le mandé la propuesta por fax a George Harrison, pero él no contestó. Le envié varios fax sucesivos, dándole mis consideraciones al respecto de como hubiésemos tenido que reorganizar el grupo. Un día, estando yo a punto de enviarle un nuevo fax, descubro que el número de fax había sido cambiado. La operadora internacional me dijo que no podía suministrar el nuevo número, debido a que estaba fuera de listado. Después de unos seis o siete meses del incidente de mis fax, la primera "Antología de los Beatles" en CD salió al mercado, después de muchos años de ausencia de un producto "Beatle". Fue mi idea. George Harrison la tomó, pero me dejó a mi afuera. Ahora estoy de regreso en Inglaterra. Regresé con una producción de 14 canciones, titulada "Shangri-La", a ver si la logro negociar con alguna casa disquera. Tanto "Hey Jude" como "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" están incluidas en la producción. También hay otras dos muy conocidas canciones, a las cuales les hice una diferente versión. El resto de las canciones son originales, o sea, compuestas por mi. A pesar que yo soy músico de Rock, "Shangri-la" es una producción de múltiples estilos. Llevé demo cassettes de "Shangri-La" a las diez mayores casas disqueras de Londres. Los diez cassettes desaparecieron misteriosamente. Los representantes de los departamentos de A&R de las antedichas casas disqueras hasta se negaron a atender mi llamada telefónica para darme una explicación, delegando otra gente para atender mi llamada y decirme que tenían dificultades ubicando los cassettes. ¿Los diez cassettes? ¿No es acaso demasiado para ser coincidencia??.... Una de las otras dos canciones contenidas en "Shangri-La" que fueron readaptadas en mi versión es "If I Had A Hammer" (Si tuviera yo un martillo). El ritmo y los arreglos eran completamente diferentes en mi adaptación a la canción original. Un dia, después de haber yo llevado mis cassettes a las casas disqueras, prendo yo el televisor y veo el lanzamiento de un nuevo programa, el cual tenía como tema musical la original "If I Had A Hammer" de Trini López !!!..Eso pasó después que mi versión de la canción fue escuchada en esas disqueras. Una canción de por sí poco conocida hoy en dia. También, después que mis cassettes fueron llevados a las disqueras, un gran centro nocturno cuyos propietarios tenían nexo con la industria disquera, estrenaron un nuevo show musical, el cual titularon "Shangri-La". Ellos robaron el nombre de mi producción. Terminé teniendo que pagar abogados para que los hicieran parar de usar el nombre, debido a que yo lo tenía registrado para fines musicales. Durante ese periodo, yo recibí docenas de llamadas telefónicas de gente desconocida que se burlaba de mi con frases como: "¿Todavía no consigues contrato en las casas disqueras?", o "Tendrás que irte a otro país", o "Todavía no escucho tus canciones en la radio"... Sospechando que tenía que haber una conspiración contra mi, mandé a fabricar CDs promocionales de "Hey Jude" y los distribuí a 84 emisoras de radio a lo largo de Inglaterra. Después de un par de semanas recibí cartas de las emisoras, diciéndome que no podían difundir "Hey Jude" en sus programas, a pesar de que algunos Jefes de Programación de ciertas radios elogiaban mis arreglos de "Hey Jude" en sus cartas. Capital Radio los describía como "unos arreglos muy interesantes". La BBC World Service los llamó "unos arreglos muy interesantes y bastante virtuosísticos". Sony Music comentó: "...verdaderamente quedé impresionado con la calidad de la ejecución y sus nuevos arreglos". Si la canción es suficientemente buena como para generar esos comentarios, ¿porqué no le dan difusión? ?... Entonces le escribí a Paul McCartney a su casa. Hasta hice 16 fotocopias de mi carta y las envié cada una por separado, para asegurarme de que por lo menos una llegaría a sus manos. Sin embargo, no tuve contestación. Curiosamente y extrañamente, durante los días que esto estaba aconteciendo, empecé a escuchar una masiva radiodifusión de la "Hey Jude" de los Beatles, y Paul McCartney de repente comenzó una serie de conciertos en la "Caverna", después de haber estado inactivo durante años... Fue durante estos meses que comencé a recibir llamadas telefónicas anónimas, amenazándome y advirtiéndome de no dar conciertos y de no tocar en público. Después de cinco meses que mi "Hey Jude" fue bloqueada en las estaciones de radio de Inglaterra, este último CD de los Beatles salió al mercado. Es la segunda vez que mi versión de "Hey Jude" causa que una antología de canciones de los Beatles salga al mercado. Parece que cierta gente considera mi "Hey Jude" como una peligrosa amenaza... También, como otra "coincidencia", la dirección de e-mail que Paul McCartney creó para que sus fans le escribieran es: heyjude18@hotmail.com ...Como ya dije anteriormente, después que mi "Hey Jude" fue bloqueada en las emisoras de radio inglesas, Paul McCartney dió una serie de conciertos en la "Caverna" de Liverpool y sacó al mercado este último segundo CD antología de canciones de los Beatles. Sin embargo, cuando se dió cuenta que a los conciertos fue poca gente y que el CD no vendió como se esperaba, entonces se apresuró a sacar al mercado un CD de su trabajo con el grupo "Wings"..Todo esto aconteció sin interrupción, una cosa tras la otra...parece que está tratando de ganar tiempo por algo...como si quisiera estar siempre presente en la mente de la gente por alguna razón...Es con gran tristeza que me doy cuenta que posiblemente cierta gente le tenga un gran miedo a mi "Hey Jude".... Fui también recientemente informado por uno de mis clientes fijos de afinación de piano, el cual tiene relación con la industria musical inglesa, que parece ser que alguien envió una carta agresiva a varios sectores de la antedicha industria musical y a otras áreas del mundo artístico, haciéndose pasar por mi...Esto me fue también corroborado por un disc jockey amigo, el cual trabaja en una estación de radio inglesa...Hay que ver los viles extremos a los cuales son capaces de llegar estos personeros que están detrás de esta conspiración, con el fin de alejar a la gente de mi persona... También, una de las diez mayores casas disqueras de Londres que robaron mi cassette titulado "Shangri-La", acaba de lanzar al mercado un CD de una de sus bandas, utilizando el título de mi cassette con la adición de un par de palabras mas, las cuales le dan al título un sentido satírico....una descarada provocación.....Lo lanzaron a través de una sucursal de la compañía en otra parte del mundo......Sospecho que esta es una trampa sutil de esta firma disquera, esperando que yo reaccione, para asi ponerme en las malas con esa parte del mundo.....No caeré en esa trampa.....Ahora están tratando de bloquearme en otras partes del mundo también.....Parece ser que cierta gente considera mi obra algo verdaderamente peligroso, juzgando por el tamaño de la conspiración que están fraguando.....como dije antes, hay que ver las viles maniobras que cierta gente es capaz de urdir!!!..... Mi tornó indietro con un offensivo "Per Bicicletta" scritto nella busta, in vece dell'usuale "Per Aereo" (Par Avion). Dopo che una ditta pubblicitaria finlandese mi chiese 28 CD della canzone per diffonderla nella loro catena di stazioni di radio in tutta Europa, la canzone cominció ad essere trasmessa. Mi fú detto dalla ditta che le loro stazioni di radio ricevevano chiamate telefoniche chiedendo "Hey Jude", e perció stava avendo una buona accettazione da parte degli ascoltatori di radio.
