We understand but will not tolerate Pakistan nuclear strategy: Britain - LONDON, June 06: The international community understands but "cannot tolerate" Pakistan's stance of not ruling out a first use of nuclear weapons in its dispute with Pakistan over Kashmir, British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw said today. "We have to obtain an undertaking on both sides that they won't in any circumstances use the nuclear weapon first," Straw told BBC radio. "That already has happened in respect of India. It hasn't yet happened in respect of Pakistan." "We can comprehend it but we cannot tolerate it because a nuclear exchange is no way whatever to resolve this conflict," he said.
