Reacting to a report in 'The Times of India' about the Forensic Science Laboratory's findings on the Godhra episode, Chaudhary said "it has already been established that the inflammable fluid that was used to burn the train was the same that was used in the burning of victims after February 28".

Chaudhary said the Gujarat government and "certain other people" were pushing the theory that a mob from outside poured an inflammable liquid inside the train and burnt it, "which has been exposed in the FSL report".

Chaudhary demanded a deeper probe into the Godhra train incident and said, "it should be found out which people in the coach used 60 litres of fluid and burnt the coach".
