"The Walter [Wally] Alexandra Dunstan Estate Swindle Story."
The photo is of Hilary Calvert, the daughter of Mr. Calvert who had a law firm in Dunedin. If she has been a lawyer for over 23 years, every chance she was working at her fathers law firm during 1983 onwards when the W A Dunstan estate was lost.

Re: A despicable "swindle" against the Estate of Walter Alexandra Dunstan of 21 Sherborne St, Christchurch, New Zealand by, evil, devious, and manipulative persons.
W A Dunstan died July 18th 1983 in his 84 year. Born in Dunedin an Engineer. Buried block 9 and plot 242 Memorial Park at Christchurch New Zealand.
Note: No head stone has been erected.
Players, Maurice Gordon Teague Accountant. Address 135 Haywards Road Clarkville Kaiapoi. Mr. S C Maynard who is thankfully deceased.
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
I am very pleased, to be asked for my comments on the late Wally Alexandra Dustan's Estate. There was no way Wally Dustan would have given Mr. S C Maynard the smell of an oily rag. Wally Dunstan saw him as a useless" bastard" who had never purchased a home. Rented a room from Wally for about seven years. At one stage, Dunstan gave Maynard a 12-month option to purchase his New Brighton batch in Badger St. Maynard could not find the purchase money.
I purchased his option. Wally told Maynard if he laid 20 concrete blocks a day, the batch would be habitable in no time. He was hoping to be rid off him if he went to live in Badger St. Wally Dunstan claimed his marriage lasted for only 2 weeks. There were no children. Maynard's story of a promise by Wally Dunstan to leave number 21 Sherborne was a "criminal fraud". Maynard was only able to pull the estate "swindle" off, with Maurice Gordon Teague's help, a Chartered Accountant now at Clarkville near Kaiapoi.
Maynard was a 'Queer Arse-Bandit' who preferred men's company to women. Claimed he had known Maurice Teague for years, and he was his accountant. Allege Maurice Gordon Teague best described as a 'cunning opportunist and skilled liar', who would say anything at any time if it benefited him. 'Unprincipled' and a 'thoroughly bad character'.
Wally Dunstan would not sell his parent's home, which he inherited. I tried to purchase for years. Agents were always leaving their come-on calling cards.
Mr. S C Maynard by listening to Wally Dunstan prattle on his estate would go to the cats in addition dogs home in Dunedin and would have formulated his swindle. Note, no wife or children to inherit. This gave Maynard an easy avenue to go after his home.
Walter Dunstan said to me in the presence of Maynard 'if you are still staying here, upon my death. Maynard has 3 days to leave the property'. 'If he refuses, put his bags, out on to the street'. Dunstan was not connected by phone. Maynard may have called at 931 Colombo St to call in Maurice Gordon Teague for his swindle. The neighbour said Dunstan was ill just before he died. Every agreement Dunstan did was always committed in writing.
Left 6 weeks prior to Wally Dustan's death and called back to uplift my irrigation pump, only to hear Wally Dunstan had passed away. R G Bell, a sleaze bag auctioneer, was holding my irrigation pump as part of the Dunstan estate. M. G. Teague, accountant, wrote to the estate lawyer 'your father' Hillary Calvert, and in due time the pump was released.
Upon reflection, Mr. Calvert said during my phone call, 'He had to get something out of it and could not let the property go for nothing, as there were the funeral costs along with his expenses'. Calvert refused to send a copy of the will.
Maynard & Teague were after the property at no cost. The price was set at about $10,000.00. Either Maurice Teague put up the $10,000, or on the other hand, the same amount was paid out from the sale of the property. Teague said the property sold for about $35,000.00. The sale price easily down by about $10 thousand bucks on an engineer's report piling was required to build flats.
Was piling ever carried out when the flats were built?
If Maynard collected say $20,000, then the figures do not add up. More money may have been involved. The Maynard, Maurice Teague estate "swindle" dragged on for about 2 years. Was there any way the estate lawyer could win?
Years later, I said to Teague. 'There is no way Wally would have left Maynard his home'. Teague replied, 'I thought Stewart should get something out of it, as he was very good company for Wally'. Maynard and Teague would have been pallbearers for Mr. W A Dunstan.
Their claim was under ' The Testimony Promissory Act'. Nothing needed in writing, just say they heard him or her make a promise. An easy charter to steal from the dead. Maurice Teague decided that they both should benefit. During my stay, never at any stage saw Teague at 21 Sherborne Street, nor did Dunstan say he had ever called.
Told Maynard, that Dunstan saw him as a useless drone and would not have left him a thing. Maynard said 'he did in his will.' Refused to show his copy he claimed he had. Every night Maynard would be on about Dunstan having a sherry or two. Maynard would lose his rent book in one room, for a month on end, so Dunstan would knock two bucks from his rent that was due weekly.
Said to Maynard 'I had carted Dunstan around for seven years, and he had never touched his kick for petrol and will seek 500 dollars from the estate'. Later on Maynard or Teague said 'I should get some thing out of it'. Teague paid me about $4,000.00. Guess the Teague payment was to stop any waves. Mr. Walter A Dunstan and myself introduced Maurice Gordon Teague in to the company Shotover Kawarau Consolidated Ltd, which was an error for us. Did Teague purchase any number of Dunstan's shares from his estate? Never ever, trust any Accountant or Lawyer.
Mr. Gordon Dollimore an accountant, typist, and police "stoolie" tells the story that Maurice Teague rose to the top position in the office of Harry Lake in Wellington New Zealand. Suggested he would have leant how to hide behind companies for his purposes.
The story goes like this. A woman calls to have a meeting with Harry Lake, then an accountant in Wellington. She was interested in purchasing a business, and had no idea how to go about it. Harry Lake suggested a small company and he would hold a few shares in it 'to keep an eye on things for you'. In addition, of course, he would have picked up a few bob carrying out the secretarial work. When this woman sold the business, she did not receive all the money she expected. She took it up with Harry Lake and his response 'do you not remember I hold 20 shares in your company'.
Harry Lake at one stage was Minister of Finance in the New Zealand National Government.

A free lesson to any intelligent readers.
Never allow any person to be a Director and Secretary on any small company.
Can be a licence to 'swindle'. Teague worked the similar type of 'swindle' on me years later. A lack of viewed perceptions on my part.
Calvert & Company Ltd failed in their duty of care.
Comment:
Years later, said to Teague. 'There is no way Wally would have left Maynard his home as he had no time for him.'
Teague replied, 'I thought Stewart should get something out of it, as he was very good company for Wally.' It only takes one truth, moreover the rest of the lies just tumble over each other in to a heap, and the truth pops up. The above is the gist or truth of their "swindle."
Time does not heal it only accommodates.
Yours faithfully,
