I was in Nepal for some project work for four months & had a chance to go into the interiors of the terai region regarding the project, mainly the border region facing UP. I had read a lot of articles how Nepal’s demography was being altered in these region by the muslims. And all my fears have proved right.
- Muslims have penetrated deep into each & every village of this region
- Each village has a mosque. Howsoever bad it may be, it has loudspeakers pointing in every direction possible. How they destroy the tranquility of the place is seen to be believed. Our Nepalese driver called them “Taliban ke mandir”.
- There are hardly any temples in these regions
- I came across a number of madarsaas, seing little children as old as 3 attending them.
- The quality of muslims is extremely fanatic. Most of them support beards, have a hellish look & are not liked by the local population. But as is everywhere the case, they impose themselves upon the locals.
- The Nepalese military & the police are completely preoccupied by the maoist threat. Neither they have the time , nor the resources & the energy to address this growing menace.
- Now Nepal has a muslim as the speaker of assembly or something like that. He is the part of any highest level Nepalese govt. meeting.
- A lot of Nepalese now go to the middle east for jobs. India is not their favourite destination now.
- I could see for myself new mosques & minarets being built & somehow had a feeling that there is something else to it other than this cult’s worship.
- Recently explosives were recovered from a mosque in Nepal meant for Maoists which gave credence to my belief that somehow these katwas are responsible for the Nepal’s problems.
- The Nepalese are extremely wary of these people but are helpless as their army & police are busy elsewhere. The town where I was staying, the whole town was disturbed by their loudspeakers day in & day out. But no one was doing anything. But I believe these pent up feelings will explode one day & there will be riots in future in Nepal. Nepalese hindus are not like Indian hindus. In almost each house animals are kept for sacrfice & food & they are quite adaptive to indulging in blood. It will be hell of a riot in Nepal.

The only silver lining was this inhuman katwa species was found in the terai region & not in the hills. But all this may also change as I saw in one newspaper katwas are coming up with madarsas even in some villages in the hills.

If one goes from Gorakhpur to the Nepal border by road (Indian side of course), you will be surprised whether u are in India or Pakistan , what with madarsaa & mosques all around & horror of horrors new ones coming up so fast. India is heading for something which is quite difficult to foresee.
