There were eight people kidnapped by MCC on 22nd October. Two of the kidnapped were released within four hours. But rest of them were released on 23rd afternoon. Although released ACF Hazaribagh, Arvind Kumar is yet to reach home. The other senior official who was kidnapped was DGM, NTPC who has also been released. He has reached home and spoken to DIG Hazaribagh. He has denied reports of ransom.
