Its theme is Struggling for Justice, Fighting the War in the light of the invasion on Iraq and the continued
violent displacements on the masses due to crisis and
globalisation.

PME II has the same objective of giving precedence to
the voice of the toiling masses of peasants, workers,
women, Dalits, fisherfolks, indigenous peoples, the
youth and others.

PME II also provides a good opportunity for the marginalised sectors to come together to share
and celebrate their experiences and discuss how to further advance their struggles.

The PME II is a collaboration of grassroots organisations such as peasants, women, workers
and other support groups from India and other countries from all over the world.
