Rousing opening to WSF
Tens of thousands of people gathered for the opening of the World Social Forum 2004 at the NESCO grounds in Goregaon, Mumbai. They watched a South African theatre troupe perform before hearing rousing speeches from Chico Whitaker, one of the WSF founders from Brazil and Arundhuti Roy, Indian author and campaigner.
