"Towards a World Parliament: let's create a network for glocal democracy from below" workshop was held at the World Social Forum in Mumbai on Monday, 19th January, 2004. 50 persons from 20 different countries participate in the discussion.

Nicola Vallinoto, from Italy, activist of the World Federalist Movement coordinated the workshop while Dr. leo Rebello, co-President of World Constitution & Parliament Association chaired.

The resolution adopted by the participants:

1) Establish a World Parliament in 2010

2) Include "World Democracy" as the main theme of the next World Social Forum

3) Create a Network or federation of global democracy organizations

4) Launch a Website on World Parliament with weblinks to the other mundialist organizations

5) World Parliament E-forum to evolve People's Basic Manifesto.
