Rebello presents himself on one website as "Dr. Leo Rebello, Goodwill Ambassador" However, he firmly demonstrates his lack of goodwill by the utterly disgusting e-mails he has sent out He certainly deserves the title 'Ambassador of Hate'.

Briefly the case is: One Mary Garden, the writer of The Serpent Rising, resident of Australia sent me her said book duly autographed, for REVIEW in Indian media. I do not know her personally. Infact, it is her publisher who first got in touch with me by scanning Indian authors and publishers directory.

On reading the said book I found it very disgusting and I wrote to her and the publisher that I would not be reviewing it. Thereafter, the whore unleashed madmen like Robert Priddy on me and they would spam me daily hitting below the belt and I too in turn give them good. During one month, I carpet bombed them with about 40 replies, including a notice to Mary Garden. She kept quiet, but this crook called Robert Priddy continued because no one had challenged him before about his dirty habits.

this Robert Priddy and "her" husband Ronald Pallas put some webpages on  http://www.angeltowns.com/members/tanik/ since it offers free hosting. Mary Garden of Australia has documented some of her forays into sex, drugs, and vagrancy in that book. Here are some nuggets: Sai Baba, she says, is a hermaphrodite & homosexual - page 44 and talks of surrendering to him - page 16. Then she runs away from him because he played footsie with her but did not call her to his bedroom. She is therefore disappointed and runs away to Rishikesh in the Himalayas. There she gets pregnant from Balyogi - page 203. She then aborts a 4-month fetus (a boy according to the nurse who puts the fetus in the dustbin) in a Delhi Nursing Home and feels it was a murder - page 211. Next she has encounters with Rajneesh in his dark chambers in Pune, etc. etc. The cover page shows Rajneesh working on her. Prior to meeting all these "unholy men" like Satya Sai Baba, Balyogi Premvarni and Rajneesh (her words), Mary enjoyed drugs & sex with older men in Auckland, by the time she was 16 - page 5. Infact her sexual experiments started at a very young age when the neighbour took her and her sister in a hen house and made them do felatio. And such a pornographic book she has dedicated to her two children. The details about her husband are missing.

I received the said book on 2nd December, 2003. After reading it I wrote to her that I was disappointed with her book and I will NOT be reviewing the same since it was semi-pornographic. Leo Rebello admits to sending the e-mails he sent, to "carpet bombing" a number of persons with his sexually-explicit, vile language. Not one e-mail sent to him uses any such filth, defamations or lies. However, his language use is so filthy, so disgusting, and his expressed hate of all homosexual, makes anyone with a sound mind ask how such a man can be trusted in ANYTHING concerning patient care or AIDS. He actually claims that he "exorcises and beats some of his patients! Are these the actions of a self-proclaimed "Ambassador of Goodwill"? (Leo Rebello is a 'homeopathic doctor' who denies the existence of AIDS and SARS. He is very active at gaining maximum publicity through flooding the Internet with his inserts on webpages wherever he can get in. He chases famous people constantly to enhance his doubtful and falling reputation, for he has hiself documented having violated patient confidentiality and that he openly threatens both his patients and his critics with beatings!

Rebello demonstrates his total disregard of facts and reality and in constant repetitions of the most graphic filthy sexual language and utterly groundless libels against several persons. This is the main reason for this website... to make the wider
public aware of the true nature of 'doctor and professor' Mr. Leo Rebello, a veritable Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde... and an upstart whose claimed credentials and boastings are highly suspect.

He has never sued me, Robert Priddy - a typical boasting lie of his. His claims of reporting me to police authorities are simply laughable, I have committed no crime in any of this and I have not even libelled Rebello, simply used his own words against him. Nor did he succeed in closing down the web pages registered by Ronald Pallas working from the same computer intranet as I use. The pages were originally at a website where the account expired. There was no secret whatever about the fact that it was I who posted them, it was clear on every page and I gave Rebello a warning using my full name on the main page. It is still no secret that they are by me, for they are on-line right now at the above-mentioned URL. They are not defamatory, they are purely objective in summarising what Leo Rebello has written in recorded e-mails and in some of his many absurd web pages. That he goes anywhere to get himself photographed with the famous (such as beside Miss Universe - I ask you!) just shows his greed for publicity and his upstart nature.

He gets basic facts wrong about me, firstly, I have never had anything to do with botany, I have never claimed to hold the post of Professor of Sociology or Philosophy, though I was what is commonly called a 'professor' in normal student parlance. I was in Sweden but temporarily to lecture for PhD students course (Umeå University), I held tenure at the University of Oslo = where I lectured on philosophy and sociology for most of my working life until I received an invalid pension. I am not and have never been an AIDS sufferer, and - of course - am not a homosexual. This is another typical blatant lie by Rebello. I did not and could not possibly have had any such relations to Sai baba as Rebello claims as I was always together with my wife in all interviews and I was already 50 years old at the first interview. Sai baba is well known for dropping his homosexual partners before they reach 30 years of age. Rebello makes such defamatory claims and expresses himself in the gutter language he uses for reasons best known to himself. If he imagines he can bluff his way out of the outbursts and lies he has delivered, as he has bluffed his way into connections with well-known Indians, then he will be sorely disappointed.

It is of interest that Leo Rebello's alleged 'million-dollar' lawsuit threat has not been taken seriously by this website. The fact is, as anyone who can be bothered to wade through all his filth, and all my measured replies and webpages (not many would stand reading about such distorted ideas at such length as Rebello ) that he alone is the defamer, while I - Priddy - am the offended party. He has accused me falsely of:-
1) being a homosexual
2) Suffering from AIDS
3) Having had sexual relations - including oral and anal sex - with Sathya Sai Baba
4) diverse other untrue and easily disprovable claims.

Of course, unlike Rebello, I possess plenty of sound documentation on these matters. He has no chance of proving one single of the above points, even remotely.
Rebello's language does not speak of a person who is wholly acquainted with legal proceedings (i.e "Piss off") and he speaks for himself in so many other graphic ways. So it is with confidence that I would face Rebello in the Norwegian courts, where whatever reputation he may have will really be destroyed in a sound public fashion (note: I am not under any Indian jurisdiction, of course).
In any case, my counter-damages would be considerable, of course, and he will have to face all the costs too. The only problem is, in the most unlikely even of him appearing in this country which I know so well, it would be utterly boring and distasteful to have to do with such an unbalanced person as one can see he is from his ravings and (judging by his fixation on gutter sex language) such an apparently sexually-disturbed individual.

This comment is not about a World Parliament, not any more than Rebello's were. But it is necessary in the circumstances. Since Leo Rebello thought he could make some money promoting Mary Garden's book, but was unable to obtain the rights, he turned to vituperation. He continues this on his comments in the above, but he is not anywhere near being in the same class of frankness, The bravery shown by Mary Garden in exposing, for the benefit of other potential victims to one of the most awful of Indian gurus, is in a class apart. A real life spiritual thriller! Such a frank and wholly engaging account of such a remarkable 'spiritual journey' to India has seldom been written. This can be said with confidence because it is shatteringly frank. It takes 'seekers of the spiritual' on a vicarious tour of the mystique of yogis, gurus, swamis and their kind, without personally having to go through the accompanying betrayals and horrors that happened to Mary Garden and which so often occur. The extraordinary psychic and paranormal experiences, which are almost invariably also a baited hook, were also had by Mary Garden in plenty. For me this account represents a broad and experientially-founded rebuttal of much of what the vast New Age literature builds up in groping for spiritual solutions to living and following fraudulent gurus, and not least the search for transcendental experiences of any kind at all costs. The experience of staying in the ashram after having entered into an inner spiritual bond with this self-proclaimed avatar are recorded with great accuracy, a fact to which I can attest because my wife and I experienced or observed all the described kind of events there 12 years later, so little of real import had evidently changed. The teaching for self-brainwashing was already firmly in place and at that time the sinister aspects of a dangerous cult were already present, later to become known only when sexual abuses and cold-blooded murders were impossible to suppress successfully. Mary Garden eventually realised the fraud involved when she was told frankly about Sai Baba's homosexual abuse of young men in the name of God by an American lady who lived and worked in Bangalore and who was not under the delusions shared by all Sai followers.

This episode, bad enough in itself, was as nothing compared to what was to come. .. from the frying pan into the actual fire, with another 'pure yogi' with undoubted powers of an extraordinary nature who turned out to be a seducer of women and many a worse quality. That it was anything like an 'ordinary trip' would be a huge understatement… but the reading of the book itself alone can convey what is to be learned from it. Meanwhile, throughout the long agon, the anachronistic time capsule that is India becomes almost sensually present, like virtual reality… but one where unearthliness mixed with the direct social reality rules so much of the lives of its inhabitants.
