Protest Rally to the American Consulate!

On 20th January, 2004, Mumbai Resistance is holding a rally against US occupation of Iraq and we are marching towards the US consulate, demanding withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. They are trying to deny permission to hold the rally, but we will assemble at Kamgar Maidan. We will definitely try to do our best to have the rally. We are making an appeal to all genuine anti-imperialist forces -- those who are in MR, those who are not in MR., those who are in neither WSF nor MR, the people of Mumbai; to join the people's struggle. We have put this appeal on the Internet one month ago, so that the whole world knows that there is a march. If we cannot march together in ideological space, we request all the people to come and march with us in the real democratic space. In the action let us understand each other.

We have received a lot of letters of solidarity from abroad -- from Jose Maria Sison, from the Netherlands, many friends from Bangladesh, from America, from many guests and delegates who were not given visas. They have all said that their hearts are with us and marching with us in spirit. The masses are with us, all struggling organisations.

We give a call to the people of the World, if not in person, join us in spirit.

Long live the struggle against imperialist globalisation!
