Dear Comrades, Readers, and Friends,
Various Forces in Nepal have requested statements of solidarity from the International Progressive and Revolutionary Anti-US Anti-Imperialist Forces in support of the Maoist-led Nepalese Resistance. Two major development makes this of grave concern to all anti-imperialist forces. First, only a few months back US imperialist goons were seen co-operating with the Semi-Feudal Nepalese Monarchy against the resistance meaning the US Imperialist have now reached their tentacles into Nepal, and the US imperialism is increasingly militaristic. Second, the US imperialists are now attempting to place the Nepalese Resistance in the US and European Union "terrorist " blacklistings, which means the with the growth of the Armed Resistance in Nepal the US has again expanded its ever-growing assault on the rights of nations to self-determination. For these two reasons, we request that all Anti-Imperialist Progressive and Revolutionary Organizations and Personages sign the following statement, with special thanks due to my colleague Andrew Kahn for editorial work. Stand With Nepalese People's Resistance Against Imperialist "Blacklistings"!
We hear with a great sense of concern, about US attempts to place the Maoist-led "People's War", principally the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) on the so-called "terrorist" blacklistings, so as to scapegoat legitimate popular
resistance forces in order to marginalize the Nepalese solidarity efforts. Hence, we call for supporting Nepal in their National Liberation Struggle. Furthermore, we affirm the right of the Nepalese people to self-determination, and fully support resistance to US imperialism and Nepalese country-selling, anti-democratic Compradors. This includes supporting armed resistance against US troop invaders. Along with this, we stand by recent efforts to build solidarity with legitimate political prisoners and prisoners of war, solidarity efforts with South Asian People in struggle, including the Nepalese.
It has become a trend of the times, in our era of fierce anti-imperialist class struggle, where the gun is the primary mode, that from Colombia to Palestine, from Iraq to Nepal, and from Korea to Syria, the anti-imperialist popular resistance forces will face scapegoating and repression, including the dreadful and hated US and European Union blacklistings. In the face of this we stand with those who fight for freedom, equality and a better world, hand in hand with the the Nepalese People, who are sure to raise the red flag over the Highest Points of the Himalayas.
