Streamtime will host an audio web stream transmission about the Iraqi elections, from 14.00 until 18.00 Central European Time (CET). Broadcast will be in Arabic and English. radio on internet! * open weblog! * chatroom! * public meeting in Amsterdam.nl 2 - 6 p.m. (Central European Time) 4 - 8 p.m. (Tigris Time) 8 - 12 a.m. (Pentagon Time) People in Iraq and in the Iraqi Diaspora will be interviewed on their experiences of that day and they will be asked to shed light on their opinions. On January 30th, the exact url to listen to the streaming transmission will be published on the Streamtime site. On January 30th Iraqis are called to vote for the interim national assembly. It will be a day of hope and violence, no doubt. Streamtime will be an on-line platform for direct reporting and discussion. New media for new Iraq! We don't just want votes, but Iraqi voices to be heard worldwide.
