At the same time the govt. of Congress and others much talkative about Peace Talk especially in Andhra Pradesh and generally in other states. The Karnataka govt. is not an exception . Its Congress govt. express willingness to peace talk with Naxals in general and CPI(Maoist) in particular . Yesterday on 6th Feb 05 the state secretary of CPI(Maoist),Karnataka and other comrade were killed during a meeting in a village by police in fake encounter. The police in coordination with STF, higher official under the direction of Chief Minister, chased Perm alias Saket Raj, state secretary of CPI (Maoist) Karnataka and killed him cold blooded. Prem was a student of IIMC-JNU Delhi, and a known scholar of history. His famous book in three volumes is Peoples History of Karnataka. He is Maoist in ideology and was active for a revolutionary change in Indian society through radical means, which is not unconstitutional. It is our history which teaches him a radical path to go ahead for better society. He was not a criminal but a pioneer of democratic India. No one say that our society and political system is democratic and socialist as Indian constitution says. The central govt. and its home minister placed cease fire with CPI (Maoist).They have accepted that naxal’s demands are not unconstitutional. But now cold blooded killing of Naxals in general and CPI (Maoist) cadres and leaders in particular will hamper the democratic struggles and constitutional rights. Neither constitution nor Indian people have given right to police or govt. to kill any one for its own belief or any other cause. Assassination of CPI (Maoist) leader Prem alias saki by Karnataka police is a threat to human rights and they are trying to kill beliefs who want a democratic –socialist India. We condemn the killing of Prem and other comrade by Karnataka police in complicity with Congress Govt. We demand a judicial inquiry and to set a criminal charge against those who were involved in this killing.
