World Community should take Note of Islamic Terrorism

All Hindus and democratic people strongly condemn the brutal, inhuman and barbaric Islamic terrorist attack in the three exclusively Hindu populated areas in Delhi killing over 60 children, woman, and men. It is well established that terrorism has been supported, promoted and armed by country like Pakistan leaving aside the lip service condemnation of this attack by a junior official of that country.

In the recent earth quake in Pakistan, India have provided quick and maximum relief to that country but the Islamic terrorist had struck the next day in Kashmir and killed 10 Hindus by slitting their throats. It shows that no amount of appeasement or human treatment of these people helps but instead it is considered by them as worlds’ weakness and makes them commit more atrocities as above.

Any aid to Pakistan for any reason, is an indirect aid to the terrorists'

Every time there is an Islamic terrorist attack, the so-called moderate Muslims will pretend to shed tears. Yet there are attacks one after another. If the author is really sincere in what he wants the reader to believe, what he should do is to write such stuff in publications that are read by the terrorists and their sympathizers. He should go to their dens, and convince them about the damage that they do to the society. But then, this requires courage. To write in publications like The Times of India requires use of some finger muscles.

Muslims should be told in no uncertain terms that lip service is not enough. They must denounce Jihad as a barbarism and Sharia as a medieval monstrosity that has no place in modern society. We should not accept convoluted apologies that want try to preserve these barbarism claiming that they distort the 'true meaning' of these barbarisms.
But non-Muslims are mainly to blame. Every time there is a terrorist attack, they start praising Islam and start talking about "backlash." There is no backlash without front lash.

EARTH QUAKE HELP-why double standards?

A NOTE FROM A PANDIT REFUGEE OF KASHMIR
While it is gratifying to note that people irrespective of creed, colour, race or region are coming to the help of earthquake ravaged areas of Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
I am reminded of 1989-90 genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced mass exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. The Kashmiri Pandits are the indigenous people of Kashmir who lived in Kashmir for the last thousands of years. They have a written history testifying their living in Kashmir for the last more than five thousand years. They became victim of the Islamic fundamentalism and terrorism in Kashmir when hundreds of them were selectively killed, butchered, sliced and axed because they were not Muslims and supported accession of Kashmir to India. Their hundreds of temples and shrines including places of cultural importance were destroyed and razed to ground. Thousands of their houses were burnt by the terrorists and fundamentalists with the tacit support and understanding of the Muslim majority community and administration in Kashmir. This community was compelled to make exodus and leave to the other parts of the Jammu province and some cities like Delhi, Jammu and Udhampur etc.
I am reminded that the then political structures of India excepting a few tried to justify terrorism because in their opinion Kashmiri Muslim youth were unemployed and were frustrated to take up the gun against the corrupt regimes. They inadvertently also justified ethnic cleansing with an argument that the Muslim majority community never wanted the Pandit community to go but it is the Jagmohan regime that led the community to exodus. Hardly was their any reaction anywhere in India to what was happening to Kashmir and Kashmiri Pandits.
I am also reminded that there was virtually no NGO or government response to the hapless situation emerging out of the exodus. People, the lakhs of Pandits were on the streets and were languishing in small nomadic tents in various parts of the country. No sane Muslim from any part of India or the world not to speak of Kashmir came to their help in their hour of distress. No Moulvi, Mullah, intellectual, artist or NGO of Muslims came to their rescue or uttered even a word of sympathy for them. The Pandit community showed resilience and their young men in the form of volunteers came out to tell the nation and the world what had happened to them. Their consistent campaign and constant crusade against the fundamentalism and terrorism won friends for them who ultimately made the hapless community to stand again though as refugees in their own country.
There is a vast difference in the approach now. Everyone seems to help the Muslim victims of Pakistan and Pok. Let we ponder over why there is a hell of difference between the two situations. We would pray that no one on this earth face any of the two situations those have been described above, but question remains-
WHY DOUBLE STANDARDS?
The reply is sought not only from those who have a grudge against India but also from those who love India and Hindus. The struggle for rights will continue but unattended questions also need their replies......Sooner the better.
This note is for circulation to all concerned,

'Pakistan is a big devil, India must crush it' - Times of India

NEW DELHI: Is India waiting for some one else to declare Pakistan a terrorist state? The fact of the matter is that India is the country worse hit by terrorism -- sponsored by none other than Pakistan. Over 50,000 people have been killed in terrorist-related violence in India since 1994. Why then should we wait for a declaration to this effect from the US -- and that too, knowing well that for over half a century, successive US governments have supported and sheltered Pakistan to achieve their own ends. Our readers have raised this and several other questions.

Mr. V C Bhutani says that it was only post 9/11 that the US felt the need to counter terrorism. Then, Pakistan is supported by the US Congress, the Democratic party, and the US media. Then asks our reader, is the US dumb enough to not realize that a thief cannot be made a watchman?

Another reader, Mr. Narender Pendyal, says that Pakistan has already had its Diwali blasts, celebrated the occasion. Mr. Leoduman writes that it is a shame that India should offer $25 million to Pakistan -- a country that uses its funds to raise terrorists and send them into India to kill its people.

The sooner we wake, the better it is, says the reader. If we have enough self-respect, we must boycott Pakistan. Writes another reader that India must shut business, seal borders and end talks with Pakistan for Pakistan draws its satisfaction seeing India disintegrate.

Yet another TOI reader lashes out against Pakistan. He says, wake up Manmohan Singh. Give it back to them the same way they have done it to us. For God sake, rise, do it now, for we must save innocent lives.

Readers also opine that statements by successive Indian governments telling Pakistan that India would not tolerate terrorism have been of no use. Can we stay at peace with each other? Is India waiting for more to happen before the devil Pakistan raises its hood to attack India again?

India must wake up, act for itself. No one else will come and solve out problem. No one at all. Not the US, not China, not anyone.

Another reader wonders that why on earth is India opening the LoC with the devil nation? Pakistan's basic goal is to kill innocent Indians. We don't need such friends. We are better off by ourselves. So are we looking for a friend in Pakistan? Politicians play dirty games. Be it the vocal Advani or off the scene Sonia, they are all busy criticising each other, says a reader, when they should be united to fight the enemies of the country.

Do we not realize that we have been wronged by Pakistan? Another reader opines that India must educate the world about terrorism and lead them to expect a decisive Indo-Pakistan showdown sooner than most of them think.

It is high time we realize that it is foolish to think that Pakistan's military establishment and fundamentalists will ever change their thinking. They are jealous of the progress we have made.

The fact that groups involved in New Delhi blasts still enjoy the support of Pakistan is no secret.

Pakistan is clever. It continues to support terrorism even as it condemns such acts. So are we in India allowing ourselves to be fooled? It is time; we look beyond negotiating table and take some action. Wake up India, writes Navpan. Wake up for us, unite and crush the enemy. Tolerance for Pakistan and its nonsense in the rest of the world is rapidly declining. Witness the announcement that burkhas (the favored costume of the Pakistan Army across the LOC according to Reuters circa 1998) are banned in the Netherlands.
The mood in India has also undergone a sudden change in the past 48 hours. We need to focus on what can be done to channel this new energy usefully.

Muslims and Christians are hardly responsible for their act. They are getting cheated by their Bible, Koran and the Indian Constitution!
They deserve education. They must be informed that they are getting duped by their leaders, who are purposely deceiving them with the dogmas they got through their prophets in legacy.

Expert Links Recent Bomb Blasts To History of Jihad in India

Recent bomb blasts in India highlight the living legacy of jihad on the Indian subcontinent. The group which took credit for the attack may have ties to the Muslim jihadist group, the Lashar-e-Tayyaba, according to the AP.

Andrew Bostom, M.D., M.S., says that jihad terrorism is a plausible explanation for this phenomenon, as the Indian subcontinent has been subjected to jihad attacks since the early 8th century.

"Beginning in 712 C.E., it was three major waves of brutal jihad campaigns, including many acts of what we would now term 'jihad terror,' over the course of five centuries, which first established a permanent Muslim domination, within Hindu and Buddhist India ,of slaughtering, enslaving and subduing the former, and completely eliminating (from India) the latter," Bostom says.

Bostom is an Associate Professor of Medicine. He has published numerous magazine and newspaper articles on Islam and has been a featured guest on WABC and WOR radio. He has recently published a major documentary history on jihad, both its theory, and actual practice, compiling for the first time in Western language an extensive history of jihad from the 7th century, through the present. The Legacy of Jihad: The Islamic Holy War and the Fate of Non-Muslims is a collection of eyewitness accounts, scholarly Muslim theological treatises and historical surveys.

"Professor Bostom's meticulous and cogent study is a challenge to the free world to seriously ponder the growing, lethal threat implicit in militant Islam."

- Professor Vahkn Dadrian, pre-eminent historian of the Armenian genocide and author of The History of the Armenian Genocide (1995, 2004)
"Andrew Bostom has provided an invaluable service to both scholars and lay audiences with this comprehensive analysis of jihad."

- Bat Ye'or, pioneering scholar and author of The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam (1996), Islam and Dhimmitude (2001), and Eurabia (2005).

"We are dependent on those like Andrew Bostom who make available for us the truths necessary for understanding the nature of the conflict with Islamic terrorism."

- Bruce Thornton, Private Papers

It is high time that the world Community should swing into action and nip the menace in the bud before it is too late and engulfs the whole world, and take punitive measures against the country promoting this evil.
