An acclaimed Indian Muslim "secularist" recently lambasted Mohammad
Ali Jinnah as "the man who single-handedly divided India in 1947".
That is not true.

The defining image of the week, for me, is of a small child's burned
and blackened arm, its tiny fingers curled into a fist, protruding
from the remains of a human bonfire in Ahmadabad, Gujarat, in India.
The murder of children is something of an Indian specialty.

General Idi Amin Dada He's since Hitler one of the most terrible dictators ever.
He took power in Uganda 25/1-1971.
And during the following eight years did his terror-regime kill one half million people and bring the country to the edge of ruin.
He totally abolished the democracy in Uganda. Each man who didn't obey the regime was brutally murdered.


Idi Amin is currently living comfortably in Saudi Arabia.

This is o draw your attention to a phenomenon, which is likely to cause concern to some one as sensitive as you are. As you are aware, March 8 is a day when we celebrate and commemorate our rights as equal partners in society.

We are dismayed and pained at the Supreme Court judgment harshly
convicting writer and activist Arundhati Roy of contempt of court for
her criticism of the judicial verdict in the Narmada case, among
other things.

Six days after brutal violence rocked Gujarat state, especially Ahmedabad
city, the sheer scale and dimension of the tragedy and it's lasting impact
is being callously rejected by the ruling state government.

On March 11 1971, the students of the University of Puerto Rico held their ground against the forces of fascism. Let no one forget!

The ferocity of the carnage has, thankfully, abated....but its not
over by far.
