Delhi Police Monday tried to stop a private
screening of a documentary on the Gujarat sectarian violence but withdrew
after journalists intervened.

There are over 100 relief camps scattered all over Gujarat with over
one lakh (100,000) victims. There is shortage of food, water and
medical help.

THE enthusiasm of the minister for human resource development for
rewriting history has done incalculable damage to the discipline, but
has, paradoxically, yielded some positive results.

A propos the spread of communal riots in Gujarat, it needs to be said
that it would be a mistake to think that this is going to be confined
